some helpful knitting resources

http://www.KnittingHelp.com/

Just discovered this one... It has little video clips demonstrating the various knitting techniques - very helpful for those (like myself) that have trouble visualizing the techniques from written descriptions.

And a Knit Along for the Honeymoon Cami, filled with helpful tips. Julia often posts to this blog/discussion as well - very helpful!

An introduction

Hi everyone (or whoever happens to stumble upon this blog), I just decided to relieve my boredom by jumping on the blog bandwagon. For the moment, this will mostly be to keep track of the progress on my latest and most ambitious knitting project to date - the Honeymoon Cami. So far (as of Wednesday, March 30th), I have the ribbed lace border done, and am mustering up the courage (and acquiring the necessary increase/decrease skills) to continue with the body of the cami and start the waist shaping. Wish me luck :o)

P.S. The pattern for the Honeymoon Cami can be found at : http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEspring04/PATThoneymoon.html
